Effective socialization of a child determines his or her success in life.

The social and personal development of preschool children and all the tasks associated with it have always been relevant, but particularly important now that the amount of information is over the top and the exchange of information is very rapid. In order not to get confused and find oneself, everyone needs help at an early preschool age when their personality is being shaped.

Communicative development is an important element of a child's socialization

Parenting relies mostly on various preschools, where children learn the basics of life in modern society. It is very important to use effective methods that can develop each child's communication skills in the best way possible.

Behavioural patterns – emotional states

The introduction of communication skills with others is done through play – for preschool children, it is the best, most appropriate way to learn. It also allows educators to see the characteristics of each child and possible communication problems.

This social and communication development is defined as, for example, one of the most important things that preschoolers need to learn to manage their emotions, because it is the emotional states that determine the behaviour of the individual; for the child to develop effectively, it is necessary to teach them to recognize emotions, their character, to recognize and to use them.

While positive emotions are well perceived by preschoolers' psyche and motivate them to develop further, negative emotions cause acute rejection.

This layer of emotions also needs to be able to accept internally because blocking will create deposits of aggression, resentment, and discontent in the child's subconscious: they can be expressed in communicative problems and difficulties of further maturation.

Emotional development needs to be addressed from the very first days of life

While managing their emotions, children will be able to overcome fears and insecurity, be aware of their behaviour, avoid destructive and deviant behaviour, and not do anything reckless.

Emotional management also contributes to the social and communicative development of preschool children, in the sense that they are able to determine other people's spiritual states.

Beginning with the perception of basic emotions and experience, children begin to see increasingly complex states; in some cases, this contributes to the development of empathy (a full sense of the other person's emotional state).

Directions and tasks of social and communicaƟon development of preschool children

There is a state standard that defines the directions of development of preschool children:

  1. Social and communicaƟon development.
  2. Cognitive development.
  3. Speech development.
  4. Artistic and aesthetic development.
  5. Physical development.

Socio-communication development objectives – an expanded definition

All together they develop the social-communication abilities of preschool children, the desire and the opportunity to interact based on a positive perception of their peers.

This is a rather complex work, which begins with the fact that the child realizes himself/herself as a part of a large organism of society, perceives himself/herself and his/her interlocutor as separate and self-sufficient units (subjects) of communication.

Aware of this, the child learns to express his/ her thoughts and emotions by different means: visually, verbally, through gestures and facial expressions. Children are aware that they communicate with each other in the same language (in all senses), which contributes to a better understanding.

After this preschooler is introduced to more complex norms of behavior and life in human society (the presence of certain roles in relationships, professions, etc.)e.).

Publicity in the family is the first stage of social and communicaƟon development

Provided that all this takes place in the form of different games, children accept new information easily and naturally. A whole system of playful exercises has been developed that includes:

  • individual activities;
  • group work;
  • integrated exercises.

This activity allows children to develop a desire and ability to cooperate, share experience, interact in a team, and easily express their thoughts and solve various problems. Games stimulate thinking, cognitive, exploratory, visual, constructive and many other activities necessary for the development of a successful personality.

Children in kindergarten learn to communicate with peers

Games help to eliminate communication problems, rework psychological blocks, help express their thoughts and emotions in a constructive way that benefits the whole group.

Communicative development issues for today's children

But the main task of preschool communicative development is to awaken a child's desire to communicate.

As we know, communication is the most important need of a person, without which he ceases to be a human being; it is the ability to interact with each other and is a feature of human civilization. Without communication it is impossible to communicate socially, to find one's place and purpose in life. This is a fundamental activity for all other activities.

Game and communication development – interrelated

The concept of effective communication consists of 4 components:

  • wish to interact with others;
  • know the norms and rules of conduct, perceive social roles in society;
  • to be able to communicate, listen, perceive emotions, conscious and unconscious signals from others;
  • to resolve any conflicts in communication.

Even though it all seems quite natural, the number of young children with communication skills problems is increasing in today's world.

Logopaedic games are causing speech communication to deteriorate, making preschoolers increasingly unbalanced: they are unable to take control of their emotions, communicate normally with their peers, master speech, etc. All of this, of course, has an impact on the development of intellectual abilities and leads to an alarming underdevelopment of an increasing percentage of children.

Responsible parents are the key to a child's successful development!

Now, therefore, timely assistance from pre-school staff is crucial – it is necessary to place your children in special institutions on time and actively support their socialization.

This process depends directly on the influence of parents, whom the child trusts absolutely. It is the parents' primary influence on their child's social development. Research and statistics show that if the mother and father are responsible and competent, then the preschooler himself is much more actively involved in public life and interaction with people.

Messaging with the child in the family is the basis for social and communication adaptation in society

and vice versa: the low level of speech development is primarily due to lack of communication in the family, the so-called “personal experience”. This has an impact on the intellectual and creative development of preschoolers.

This way it is clear that the work of parents and carers in institutions is equally important for the social and communication development of children. Moreover, these two points are closely related.

Successful results in the development of social and communication skills among preschool children lay the foundation for unlocking creativity, finding a place in the world and building success in life.

Social and communication development of children is one of the most important issues in pedagogy. It is becoming more and more relevant in today's context due to

with the characteristics of the child's social environment, which is often marked by

deficiency of politeness, kindness, goodwill, and speech culture in

relationships between people. Therefore, in the implementation of the FSES, the content of

In childhood, the socialization process is greatly influenced by the socialization aspects, i.e., the persons with whom the child has direct interaction (family, kindergarten, society).

directions for my work: play activities; patriotic upbringing; labor

education; formation of the basis for safe behavior in everyday life, society, and nature.

Let's look at each of these directions in a little more detail.

In cooperation with children I use theatrical games:

Dramatization by fairy tales, dramatization, simulation games, improvisation games.

Plot and role-playing games are the most attractive activities for our children.

In this age, children are able to create their own game story, pick up the material,

to attract peers and organize the game.

The goal of a child's work education is to form

p>the child's personality as well as the correct attitude to work. Work

develops the child's intelligence, observation,

attention, concentration, memory, and strengthens their physical strength and health. Organization of labor activity includes: duty (by

canteen, at work, in the natural center); self-service, household work, manual work, work in nature, familiarization with adult labor.

In today's world of profound changes in life

society, patriotic education is becoming one of the central areas of work with preschoolers

. Now, in a period of instability in the community, there is a need to return to the best traditions of our people.

Activities: “Day of Independence of Russia”, laying flowers at the monument on 9

May and 22 June, visiting the museum “Military Glory” at school № 1, took part in folk festivals.

In the group, work on forming the basis of safe behavior in everyday life,

socium, nature is aimed at broadening the pupils' understanding that safety also depends on them, on compliance with certain rules

(Hygiene, traffic, life in the community), from the ability to anticipate

or avoid possible danger (observance of personal hygiene rules; rules

Families and kindergarten are two important socialization institutions for children. They

Planning: to suggest to parents to make a graduation album “It's all about me”; to prepare a presentation “Time Ribbon”; to make a flower girl with a

greeting; to make a periodic personal exhibition of creative works

children; exhibitions of children's works (in another form); stand for regulation

Constant, continuous work in all 4 areas contributes to the social and communicative development of each child. Children have become more

free and independent, motivated and self-confident,

community, more attentive and caring to

peers and adults, capable of understanding and cooperation. Children

have the ability to make decisions together and follow them

All pre-school institutions are aimed at improving the social and communication development of preschool children. The work started by the kindergarten teacher must be continued at home by the parents.

Main aspects of socialization

In accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard (FSES) for preschool education, communication development and socialization should be considered as a single educational field.

Communication competence of preschoolers can be formed only during communication with adults and peers.

The main goal of social and communication development is to instill in the child the skills of communication with their peers. A preschooler should:

  1. Set up a behaviour that is safe for him or herself and others.
  2. Learn to communicate with children and adults alike. Some children easily find common ground only with their peers, embarrassed by the presence of older children. Other girls and boys feel comfortable in the company of adults, their close relatives. In doing so, they are afraid of communicating with strangers, even their peers.
  3. Forming positive attitudes towards collaboration and creativity.
  4. Equiphering the basic moral norms, relationships, and mechanisms of behavior accepted in society.
  5. Customize emotional communication, responsiveness, mercy and empathy.
  6. Build your ability to make independent decisions in accordance with the moral standards of the society.

Socialization structure

Socialization of preschoolers implies communication with adults and peers, during which social experience is transmitted. This is a continuous process that continues at home, in kindergarten and in other institutions visited by the child. The socialization of children in the middle preschool age affects 3 main areas:

  1. Active aspect. It means the actions of an individual aimed at the object in order to satisfy the need. The activity is enclosed in the game, through which the development of communication between preschoolers and their peers takes place.
  2. Messaging. The formation of communication skills is carried out in the process of direct communication. Conversation (dialogue or polylogue) teaches interaction with another person. When children communicate with each other or with their elders, they develop communication skills. The child learns to be guided by the interlocutor.
  3. Consciousness. The communication of preschool children directly affects the development of their self-awareness. In order to feel its value, to understand its place in the world, the baby needs another person. For successful socialization of pre-school children it is necessary to try on various roles. In the store, the child acts as a buyer. At home he plays the role of a son or daughter (grandson or granddaughter).

Virtual communication

Publicity between a modern schoolchild and a preschooler and their peers often takes place in social networks. Today's 3-4 year olds know how to use mobile phones and computers. A 6-7 year old child with accounts is a common phenomenon today.

There is no consensus on whether the development of communication skills among preschool children on the Internet is evil or good. Virtual communication has appeared relatively recently and is developing rapidly. Modern pedagogical researchers have not yet made objective conclusions.

Find the necessary information in the pedagogical manuals of Soviet scientists for obvious reasons is impossible.

Diagnosis of the communication skills of boys and girls who spend a lot of time online shows that these children have some developmental disabilities. The vocabulary of those who like to visit social networking sites is more scarce. Specifics of virtual communication:

  1. In the network people look much better than in real life. The lack of direct contact with the interlocutors liberates. Instead of a real picture, you can insert someone else's. The communicative development of children of preschool age occurs with a fictional character. The desire to look “cool” makes a preschooler also turn into a fictional hero. It realizes its need for communication without getting the right idea of what real communication is.
  2. In virtual dialogue there is no emotional component, which prevents the normal development of communication skills in preschool children. Expression of emotions is an integral part of communication. On the Internet, real feelings are replaced by smileys, with the help of which you can convey any emotion, deceive the interlocutor. Hiding real feelings in real communication is much harder.
  3. Virtual communication is too monotonous. Full communication development of preschoolers requires not only dialogue, but also joint action. Virtual contacts do not affect one of the most important areas of socialization. Communication between children in real life involves games, joint trips to the cinema, etc. That's impossible on social media.

Adult role

Formation of communication skills of preschool children begins in the family. The first communication skills are acquired by children in contact with their families. Communication skills include not only erudition, but also the ability to structure one's speech intelligently. Communication between a preschooler and adults develops a habit of respecting elders.

Their role in a child's life is played by contacts with grandparents. Some parents believe that such communication has a negative impact on the development of communication skills in preschool children.

Therewith, the society of a person belonging to another generation carries with it knowledge that he or she will not receive from his or her peers or parents. Many views on grandparents' lives have become outdated. Older people don't tend to understand young people. Dialogue with preschoolers will help to eliminate conflict between the two generations.

While it is beneficial for preschoolers to communicate with adults, they should not be completely replaced by peers. The formation of communication skills in children takes place in the society of persons of the same age. A preschooler with peers should spend as much time as with parents.

Adults will not be able to understand all the features of children's communication, despite the fact that they were once of the same age. The inner world of a senior preschooler is diverse and rich. By the time the kid's 6-7, he knows a lot of fairy tales. Diagnostics of children's communication at this age shows that boys and girls tend to play plots of familiar cartoons.

Restrictions on contacts with peers will limit the development of communication skills in preschool children.

Sociophobia

Fear of communicating with others like yourself, not only in children but also in adults. The sooner parents notice the problem, the easier it will be to get rid of it.

Lack of communication skills in older children of preschool age leads to the fact that a closed child grows into a closed adult.

Such a person will have many problems with finding a job, career development and happiness in personal life.

Discrimination can be distinguished by a number of characteristics:

  • is withdrawn, especially in the presence of strangers;
  • Sociophobes avoid mass gatherings, do not like festive events, are afraid to speak in public.

All of these signs indicate that the social and communication development of preschool children is impaired.


In some cases, adults need to take the organization of communication of preschool children into their own hands. You can invite people you know to visit with the kids. Sociophobes are more likely to come into contact in a familiar setting (at home) than in an unfamiliar one.

To empower a child, parents can participate in the game. The approach to the organization of contact should take into account the peculiarities of communication between preschool children and their peers.

As soon as the children get to know each other better and get involved in play activities, adults need to leave the game unnoticed.

Individualization is not a synonym for sociophobia. Sometimes children prefer loneliness to their peers because they are not interested in them. At the same time, the refusal to communicate with other children does not impair the social competence of preschool children. Parents should identify their son's or daughter's hobbies and organise leisure activities for the child based on their interests, e.g., enrolling in a sports section.
